Title: The try-out phase of a game-based model of didactic support at university

Abstract: The contribution illustrates the try-out phase carried out within a doctoral research which envisages the creation of a game-based model of didactic support and the adoption of this model by undergraduate students of the Degree Courses in Primary Teacher Education and Educational Sciences of the University of Roma Tre which have some critical issues in their studies. Through the activities of the game-based model we intend to enhance the learning strategies of these students, using a system with characteristics derived from games and video games. Specifically, the try-out carried out in the Workshop of Educational Technologies of the Degree Course in Primary Teacher Education at the University of Roma Tre, had as its central topic the use of the conceptual framework of serious games, video games that have well-defined educational objectives, in order to promote in the students, on the one hand, the acquisition of knowledge related to these tools, on the other, the ability to design, work in groups and use the knowledge acquired through the use of the typical structure of video games.

Title: La fase di try-out di un modello ludiforme di supporto alla didattica universitaria

Abstract: Il contributo illustra la fase di try-out condotta all'interno di una ricerca di dottorato che prevede l'ideazione di un modello ludiforme di supporto alla didattica universitaria e l'adozione dello stesso da parte degli studenti dei Corsi di Laurea in Scienze della Formazione Primaria e Scienze dell'Educazione dell'Università Roma Tre che presentano alcune criticità nel loro percorso di studi. Attraverso le attività del modello ludiforme si intende andare a potenziare le strategie di apprendimento di questi studenti, utilizzando un impianto di derivazione ludica e videoludica. Nello specifico, il try-out attuato all'interno del Laboratorio di Tecnologie Didattiche del corso di Laurea in Scienze della Formazione Primaria dell'Università Roma Tre, ha avuto come tema centrale l'utilizzo del framework concettuale dei serious game, videogiochi che possiedono obiettivi educativi ben delineati, al fine di promuovere negli studenti, da una parte, l'acquisizione di conoscenze legate a tali strumenti, dall'altra, la capacità di progettare, di lavorare in gruppo e di mettere in campo il sapere acquisito proprio mediante l'utilizzo della struttura tipica dei videogiochi.
